PTE  Writing

Total words : 200-300 , but write up to 250

Paragraphs : 4-5 ( Not even 3 or 6)

 Format:

·        Introduction: ( Understand the subject and write on current on relevant scenario)

·        Body paragraph 1:  Agree/Disagree… write on any one opinion, do not confuse by adding two different ideas, Connect one sentence to another

·        Body paragraph 2: Agree/Disagree…. Choose the same opinion as chosen in body paragraph 1

·        Give suitable examples (do not give personal examples ). Generalize the statements

·        Conclusion : It requires a well-balanced opinion  mentioned in both the paragraphs.

General Note:

·        Add writing connectives i.e., however, therefore, moreover, adding further etc

·        Generalize the statements like: some people, many people rather than all , us , you, we, I.

·        Make sure all the sentences are well connected

·        Use appropriate punctuations i.e., (comma, hyphen, full stop)

·        For score till 55 points: Simple sentences will suffice, brush up Simple tenses

·        For Scoring 60 & above: Use simple, complex and compound sentences and use relevant vocabulary as per subject .

·        For example: Subject: Zoo’s :  Caged, Natural habitat, Carnivorous & Herbivorous animals, species, reptiles, mammals, wild life etc. to name some of few

·        Write coherently, stick to one opinion and mention One point in a paragraph & try giving logical explanation.
